Agent Coding Access & Configuration Package — One-Time FAQ

What the package includes, how its Volcengine Ark Agent Plan Medium key is delivered, and how to configure Direct API Access for supported coding agents.

Current Stock & Product Boundary

What is actually for sale now, and how that differs from the models covered by this DeepSeek-first information hub.

What is currently available to buy?

Agent Coding Access & Configuration Package — One-Time, including one Volcengine Ark Agent Plan Medium key. The expired MiniMax and multi-model products have been delisted. Models shown in guides or benchmarks are not automatically purchasable inventory.

Is the Agent Plan key shared across buyers?

No. This inventory unit has capacity for one buyer. Once assigned, checkout is blocked and the key is not reused for another customer during the purchase window.

Is this an official Volcengine key?

The key was created inside Volcengine Ark and connects directly to Volcengine's dedicated Agent Plan endpoint. We do not proxy requests and do not claim to be an officially authorized reseller.

Limits, Price & Delivery

The exact Medium-plan limits, one-off checkout model, and automatic key delivery flow.

What usage is included?

The base GLM 5.2-equivalent quota is approximately 22M / 5H, 78M / 1 Week, or 220M / 1 Month using the standard 4.5 coefficient. These base figures do not include the limited offer. Until August 8, 2026, GLM 5.2's limited 1.125 coefficient is applied on top of the base quota and provides approximately 4× capacity, or about 88M / 5H. Other models have different AFP-to-token ratios. Windows refresh upstream: the 5-hour window rolls from the first request, the weekly quota resets every Monday at 00:00, and the monthly quota resets on the plan's monthly renewal date (provider time). The underlying Medium plan runs on one-calendar-month validity periods.

How much does it cost?

The stocked unit is $29.90 as a one-off purchase. The upstream Volcengine Medium plan is ¥200 per month. The site purchase is not an automatically recurring subscription.

How is the key delivered?

Complete the one-time Stripe Checkout payment. After Stripe confirms the payment, the encrypted inventory key is assigned to your account and appears in the Dashboard with its model route, model-switching steps, and ready-to-copy Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, OpenClaw, and Hermes configurations.

Coding Agent & Harness Compatibility

How the dedicated Agent Plan endpoint differs from a normal Ark or Coding Plan API key.

Which tools can use Agent Plan?

The buyer guide includes Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, OpenClaw, and Hermes. Claude Code uses the Anthropic-compatible route; the other four tools use the Agent Plan's /v3 OpenAI-compatible route with client-specific configuration.

Which Base URL and model should I use?

Use https://ark.cn-beijing.volces.com/api/plan for Claude Code. Codex, OpenCode, OpenClaw, and Hermes use https://ark.cn-beijing.volces.com/api/plan/v3 with the protocol required by that client. Put the selected official short Model ID in the configuration, such as glm-5.2, deepseek-v4-flash, or deepseek-v4-pro. A regular Ark or Coding Plan endpoint will not work with this key.

How does authentication work?

Claude Code stores the key as ANTHROPIC_AUTH_TOKEN. Codex reads ARK_API_KEY, OpenCode and OpenClaw store the key in their provider configuration, and Hermes stores it in the model.api_key field of ~/.hermes/config.yaml. The Dashboard masks the key on screen and copies the real value only when the buyer explicitly uses a copy button.

How do I switch the model?

Change the Model ID in the Agent configuration file, save it, restart the Agent, and run its status or verification command. Claude Code should keep ANTHROPIC_MODEL, the Haiku/Sonnet/Opus defaults, and CLAUDE_CODE_SUBAGENT_MODEL aligned. The detailed integration page lists the exact fields for Codex, OpenCode, OpenClaw, and Hermes.

Is Harness another coding agent?

No. Harness is Volcengine's optional capability layer for services such as search, professional datasets, agent memory, and an AI-native app backend. The product owner must first enable the relevant Harness switch upstream. We do not advertise a Harness capability as ready until that switch has been verified, and we do not invent an undocumented Codex recipe.

Availability & Support

What happens when upstream access, model routing, or inventory changes.

Do you promise permanent access or unlimited usage?

No. Access depends on the upstream Agent Plan remaining active and within its published usage limits. The offer does not include an unlimited plan, a 24/7 SLA, or permanent inventory.

What should I check if the tool does not work?

First verify the tool-specific Base URL, Agent Plan key, and exact configured Model ID. Then remove conflicting environment variables, restart the coding agent, and use its built-in status or model command. If the problem continues, use the Contact page with the exact error and tool name.
